Surf Club is a program and plan for adult learners and more experienced, intermediately-advanced skilled kids to continue to surf and improve under guidance from Sol Surfers. Surf Club is a way for us to contribute and continue to be a part of our Sol Surfers community. Our goal is to help you get out surfing more and to continue to help guide you into surfing. We want to offer a means of support for you and your kids' surfing.

Criteria for Surf Club

Kids Surf Club (17 years old and younger)

  • Surf Club (Kids) is a plan for kids to continue to surf and improve under guidance from Sol Surfers. Surf Club is a way for us to contribute and continue to be a part of our Sol Surfers community. Our goal is to help you get out surfing more and to continue to help guide you into surfing. We want to offer a means of support for you and your surfing.
  • Assessments take place on the beach at the beginning of each session and guidance is offered in the water.
  • Technical skills are addressed as well as safety and etiquette, wind, tide, weather and water conditions.
  • Individual, customized plans and goals will be assessed daily.
  • A competition element will also be offered through this plan. Competition elements will be addressed intermittently and will include competition criteria, rules, and strategies to help maximize performance.
  • Saturdays and Sundays 8-11AM... June, July, and August. East 8th Block Folly Beach.
  • April and May as well as September and October after school and weekend sessions will also be offered.

Adult Surf Club (18+ years old)

Surf Club is a way for us to contribute and continue to be a part of our Sol Surfers community. Our goal is to help you get out surfing more and to continue to help guide you into surfing.
