Surf Lessons

rivate and small-group surf lessons for every age and ability, available year-round. Every 2-hour session is built around you, whether it's your very first wave or you're ready to take your surfing further. Lessons run on Folly Beach and the Isle of Palms with certified lifeguard instructors.

very lesson is customized to your age and experience level. We love teaching surfing, and we've found that 2-hour sessions give you the most time to learn and the most time riding waves. Each session starts with about 15 minutes on the beach, where we check the conditions and practice the techniques that keep you safe and surfing efficiently. The rest of your time is spent where it should be — in the water, surfing. Book solo, or bring a friend, your kids, or the whole family.

Pricing

All lessons are 2-hour sessions, priced per lesson, not per person, so bringing friends or family costs less per surfer. Lessons are held on Folly Beach at the East 8th block or on the Isle of Palms. Online bookings are available for 9:00–11:00 a.m. daily.

1-on-1      $150.00

2 surfers  $200.00

3 surfers  $275.00

4 surfers  $350.00

  • We offer lessons on Folly Beach at East 8th block.

  • We offer lessons on the Isle of Palms at various locations.

  • All lessons are 2 hour sessions. Online bookings are for 9-11AM daily.

  • Children should be at least 6 years old to participate.

  • All participants must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water.

  • All instructors are certified lifeguards with CPR and first aid training.
